As a gamer with a heart for theater and a deep-rooted love for Stranger Things, I can hardly contain my excitement! After binge-watching the series multiple times, attending a live performance of it on London’s West End was like stepping into another dimension itself. Now, with Stranger Things: The First Shadow making its Broadway debut in 2025, I’m counting down the days (or rather, years) to witness this magical experience firsthand!
A teaser for the stage adaptation titled “Stranger Things: The First Shadow” sets its grand debut on a specific day at Broadway.
Starting in London’s West End in 2023, “Stranger Things: The First Shadows” will move to Broadway the following year. A sneak peek of the stage production shows that rehearsals start at the Marquis Theatre on March 28, 2025, with the grand opening set for April 22, 2025.

What is Stranger Things: The First Shadow about?
The stage play summary goes like this: “Hawkins, 1959: an ordinary town grappling with everyday issues.” Jim Hopper’s car refuses to run, Bob Newby’s sister disregards his radio show, and Joyce Maldonado yearns to graduate and leave the place behind. However, a new arrival named Henry Creel discovers that beginning anew isn’t as straightforward, and the ghosts of the past prove to have a far-reaching influence.
