It has been reported by industry insider @MyTimeToShineH that a fresh trailer for Stranger Things season 5 will be released on the 15th of July.
Instead, other reports indicate that the trailer will be released a day later, specifically on July 16. For example, Netflix Junkie referenced the Stranger Things Instagram broadcast channel (@turtymeck) and shared an intriguing message: “Signal detected: locking in at 7-1-6.” This seemingly hints at the trailer being released this Wednesday.

Back in February 2022, just prior to the launch of its fourth season, Netflix announced that the popular series “Stranger Things” would return for a fifth and concluding season. The masterminds behind the show, Matt and Ross Duffer, hinted in a letter to fans that they’d be delving further into the Stranger Things universe, but the main storyline will conclude with the fifth installment.
The Duffer brothers have penned that there are numerous thrilling tales yet to be shared in the realm of Stranger Things, including fresh mysteries, journeys, and unsuspected champions. However, before embarking on these new adventures, they kindly ask you to accompany them as they wrap up this storyline (as shared via Netflix).
Stranger Things Season 5 consists of a total of eight episodes. Four of these episodes (Part 1) are scheduled to release on Netflix on November 26, 2025. The remaining four episodes (Part 2), including the series finale, will be released in two batches; the first batch with three episodes will premiere on December 25, 2025, and the final episode will start streaming on Netflix on December 31, 2025.
