As a gamer who has grown up alongside the Stranger Things gang, the news of Season 5 wrapping production feels like the end of an era. I remember binge-watching the first season back in 2016 and being instantly hooked by the thrilling blend of ’80s nostalgia, supernatural mysteries, and heartfelt friendships.
The much-awaited fifth season of “Stranger Things” moves one step closer to its release, as Netflix and the Duffer Brothers have officially concluded filming for this eagerly anticipated finale.
After wrapping up a show that ran for nearly a year, one of the co-creators, Ross Duffer, shared his joy on Instagram by posting a collection of backstage images.

Reflecting on this unique journey we’ve shared, I can’t help but acknowledge that Stranger Things wasn’t just a series for us, the cast. Instead, it became an integral part of our childhood memories. Over the past ten years, it’s been more than a production—it’s been a family affair, a bonding experience that has seen us grow and evolve together.
For close to a decade, we’ve shared this story with you all, and many of our talented cast members started their journey with us when they were just young kids, around ten or eleven years old. This show wasn’t just a professional engagement for them; it was an essential part of their childhood experiences. As we watched them grow up on set, they transformed into more than just actors – they became an integral part of our family.
Beyond just the actors, our team members who’ve been with us since day one are like family to us. Their unwavering dedication and passion have been the foundation of this incredible adventure. Each and every person involved was committed to delivering a satisfying ending to this story. They invested their emotions and energy into it, and we couldn’t be prouder of what they’ve achieved. We can hardly wait to reveal it to you all next year. Until then, stay tuned!
