Stranger Things’ Millie Bobby Brown’s New Netflix Movie Is a Rom-Com With a Twist

Netflix has officially revealed that they will be releasing a new movie featuring Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown. This is their latest project with Brown, following their previous collaborations on Enola Holmes films, the upcoming 2024 dark fantasy film Damsel, and the recently premiered sci-fi action film The Electric State.

In the upcoming Netflix film “Just Picture It,” Brown will take on the lead role, which represents her debut in the romantic comedy genre. Accompanying her will be Gabriel LaBelle, a rising talent who gained recognition through his exceptional performances in Steven Spielberg’s film “The Fabelmans” and Jason Reitman’s biopic comedy “Saturday Night,” where he earned his first Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor.

What is Millie Bobby Brown’s new Netflix movie about?

A pair of university students are astonished when their mobile devices malfunction, displaying images from ten years ahead depicting them as a contented couple with children.

Imagine this: Lee Toland Krieger will take the helm as director for the film titled Just Picture It, with Jesse Lasky penning its screenplay. Not only will Brown headline the cast, but she’ll also produce the movie under her PCMA Productions banner in collaboration with Robert Brown. Additionally, RK Films’ Robert Brown and Jeff Kirschenbaum are also on board as producers. Alyssa Altman from RK Films, Jake Bongiovi and Isobel Roberts from PCMA Productions, and David Kern will serve as executive producers for the film.

Currently, there isn’t a set production start date or release date for the project as of now. Recently, Brown finished working on the upcoming installment of Netflix’s popular Enola Holmes series, where she will join forces with co-stars Louis Partridge and Henry Cavill once again. Subsequently, you can catch her in the fifth and final season of Stranger Things, for which the first teaser trailer has recently been unveiled.
