Stitch Proposes Iron Man, Avengers: Doomsday MCU & Disney Crossovers

Stitch is ready for his time to shine in the MCU.

This upcoming weekend, the live-action adaptation of Walt Disney’s Lilo & Stitch, originally released in 2002 as an animated film, will be premiering in U.S. movie theaters. Dean Fleischer Camp takes on directing duties for this new version, with Chris Sanders reprising his role as the voice of Stitch.

What did Stitch say about becoming an MCU superhero?

At a recent media event, Stitch expressed his desire to be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe by sharing his thoughts with various news outlets.

In response to a question from Rotten Tomatoes about which other Disney live-action film he’d like to crossover with, Stitch playfully proposed, “Imagine Stitch as Iron Man! He would be ‘Iron Stitch’! Yes, I am ‘Iron Stitch’! Snap of a finger.

IGN, meanwhile, asked Stitch if he’s going to appear in Avengers: Doomsday.

Stitch replied, “Indeed, you seem to be attempting to incriminate me!” He challenged, “Observe and see for yourself! However, let it be known that Stitch is strong! The impending Doomsday may not be prepared for the likes of Stitch!

As a dedicated gamer, I gotta say, Stitch isn’t one of those Marvel superheroes we see in movies just yet. But

In this movie, Maia Kealoha plays Lilo Pelekai, Sydney Elizabeth Agudong portrays Nani Pelekai, Zach Galifianakis assumes the role of Dr. Jumba Jookiba, Billy Magnussen takes on Agent Pleakley, Kaipo Dudoit is cast as David Kawena, Courtney B. Vance acts as Cobra Bubbles, Tia Carrere becomes Mrs. Kekoa, and Hannah Waddingham provides the voice for the Grand Councilwoman.

At present, Marvel Studios’ movie titled “Avengers: Doomsday” is being made. This movie will hit theaters on May 1, 2026, courtesy of Disney. In contrast, its sequel, “Avengers: Secret Wars,” is scheduled for release in May 2027. Both of these films are being helmed by directors Joe and Anthony Russo, who are commonly known as the Russo Brothers.
