HBO has confirmed that they are joining forces once again with Jesse Armstrong, the mastermind behind ‘Succession’, to create an original film about billionaires. This upcoming project marks Armstrong’s first time directing a full-length feature, following over a decade since he was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay due to his work on the 2009 black comedy ‘In the Loop’.

Jesse delves even deeper with his latest project, offering a daring exploration of contemporary greed, power, and masculinity in the workplace. Who is the cast in the Succession creator’s HBO movie?
In this upcoming HBO movie created by Succession’s mastermind, Emmy nominees Steve Carell (The Office, The Patient), Ramy Youssef (Ramy, Poor Things), and Jason Schwartzman (Bored to Death) will take on the roles of Randall, Jeff, Hugo Van Yalk, and Venis respectively. In this production, they portray a circle of wealthy companions who convene amidst a global predicament unfolding worldwide.
The unnamed HBO original film is set to be penned and directed by Armstrong. Throughout the four seasons of Succession, this esteemed writer garnered seven Emmy Awards, among them Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series. Furthermore, he will also serve as an executive producer alongside Frank Rich, Lucy Prebble, Jon Brown, Tony Roche, Will Tracy, Mark Mylod, and Jill Footlick.
