I’m thrilled to share that a fresh sneak peek for the Mountainhead movie has just been released! This highly-anticipated HBO production follows a cluster of billionaires who are on a mission to restore order following what appears to be one of their own causing global chaos. Can’t wait to see how it unfolds!

What happens in the Mountainhead trailer?

In the newly released movie trailer, we find Steve Carell, Ramy Youssef, Jason Schwartzman, and Cory Michael Smith portraying four wealthy individuals enjoying a getaway trip together.

A team engages in playful activities, including mockingly displaying their wealth on their bodies, before realizing that an AI invention from one of the billionaires has brought global disorder. Recognizing their combined potential, they consider themselves capable of possibly resolving this predicament. They contemplate purchasing countries and other means as a potential solution to extricate themselves from the turmoil.

Mountainhead is all set to premiere this coming Saturday, the 31st of May, at 8:00 p.m. in both Eastern Time (ET) and Pacific Time (PT) zones. You can catch it first on HBO, while it will also be streamable on Max.

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that this production features Steve Carell, famously known for his role in The Office, stepping into the character of Randall. Ramy Youssef, recognized from Ramy and Poor Things, takes on the role of Jeff. Jason Schwartzman, best remembered from Bored to Death, brings Hugo Van Yalk to life. Lastly, Cory Michael Smith, who has graced our screens in Saturday Night Live and May December, portrays Venis. The supporting cast includes Hadley Robinson as Hester, Andy Daly as Casper, Ali Kinkade as Berry, Daniel Oreskes as Dr. Phipps, David Thompson as Leo, Amie MacKenzie as Janine, and Ava Kostia as Paula.

The original movie on HBO was penned and helmed by Jesse Armstrong. Throughout the four-season span of Succession, this talented writer garnered seven Emmy Awards, including one for Outstanding Drama Series and another for Outstanding Writing in a Drama Series. Moreover, he serves as an executive producer alongside Frank Rich, Lucy Prebble, Jon Brown, Tony Roche, Will Tracy, Mark Mylod, and Jill Footlick.
