What happens in the Laid trailer?

The video showcases Hsu’s character finding herself unexpectedly in a peculiar predicament, attempting to prevent her former partners from meeting an untimely end. Not only does she headline the cast, but Hsu is also taking on the role of executive producer. Alongside Hsu, Zosia Mamet, Michael Angarano, and Tommy Martinez are the main stars. Guest appearances in the series include Andre Hyland, Olivia Holt, David Denman, Finneas O’Connell, Chloe Fineman, Ettore “Big E” Ewen, and John Early.

In a twisted romantic comedy titled ‘LAID’, a woman discovers that her ex-lovers are passing away in bizarre circumstances. She embarks on a journey through her romantic history, confronting her past to achieve closure and hopefully find love again – this time, realizing that the root of her relationship struggles might be her own self.

Laid” is an eight-episode romantic comedy series with a twist, scripted and overseen by showrunners Nahnatchka Khan and Sally Bradford. They had previously worked together on the 2012 series “Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23”. The original concept comes from the Australian series of the same name, created by Marieke Hardy and Kirsty Fisher. John Davis, John Fox, Jennifer Carreras, Marieke Hardy, Kirsty Fisher, and Liz Watts serve as executive producers. This production is a collaboration between Universal Television and All3Media International.
