Initially, it appeared that Luna, who had been arrested for murdering two individuals (Tom and Hollis) and attempting to kill Steffy, would receive justice for her crimes. It was indeed Steffy who had contacted Detective Baker and multiple police officers to apprehend Luna. Unfortunately, Baker got a tip from an anonymous source that Luna had been granted clemency. He subsequently instructed one of his officers to free Luna from her handcuffs and disable her ankle monitor. He then informed everyone present about Luna’s clemency.

Steffy wasn’t the only one feeling annoyed; Ridge Forrester and Taylor Hayes shared her frustration as well. They both came to believe that Bill Spencer had manipulated Luna’s pardon. Their suspicion stems from how Bill gave Luna a suspicious glance, which she returned with a grin, while Steffy desperately pleaded with Baker not to release Luna. Consequently, Bill can expect plenty of criticism and opposition in the near future.

In the meantime, Finn Finnegan – having discovered his bond with Luna and concurring with Steffy’s plan to return her to prison – was equally taken aback as well.
