Star Wars Outlaws 1.000.002 Patch Notes fix substantial issues

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I’ve seen my fair share of launches – some spectacular, others not so much. Star Wars Outlaws falls into the latter category, but I’m cautiously optimistic about its future. The 1.000.002 patch is a promising step forward, addressing performance issues and adding the elusive 40fps mode for those with compatible displays (which, let’s be honest, isn’t all of us!).

The initial Star Wars Outlaws update for PlayStation 5 is now being distributed. Released to a mix of reviews, it seems that the Star Wars Outlaws Patch 1.000.002 addresses significant problems within the game.

Star Wars Outlaws 1.000.002 Patch Notes

Now available for play on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series, the Star Wars Outlaws 1.000.002 Patch has been released, addressing various problems within the game. Not only does it aim to rectify severe bugs, but it also introduces new elements in this latest version.

The recently released update for Outlaws is quite substantial at approximately 8.59GB. This update introduces the game’s promised 40 frames per second (fps) mode. However, it’s important to note that on PlayStation 5, this high-performance mode can only be activated when your console is configured to output at 120Hz Variable Refresh Rate (VRR).

The Star Wars Outlaws 1.000.002 patch notes are as follows:

  • Adds 40fps support for compatible displays
  • Addresses performance issues
  • Numerous bug fixes across the game

More to come

In the vast open-world setting of one of sci-fi’s most renowned universes, Outlaws is expected to receive further updates down the line. Ubisoft has outlined their DLC strategy, and they aim to rectify the initial launch issues by rolling out numerous updates over the upcoming months.

Based on the history of this gaming company with their previous open-world Star Wars games, we anticipate substantial post-launch support for Star Wars Outlaws. But with its Boba Fett references and planetary settings steeped in rich Star Wars lore, will it be enough to keep fans engaged until any necessary fixes are made?

The game “Star Wars Outlaws” will become available to the public later this week, however, those who have the Ultimate Edition can start playing it immediately.
