As a seasoned Star Wars gamer with countless hours spent navigating the galaxy’s most treacherous battles, I must say, Ubisoft’s Outlaws has delivered yet another thrilling adventure. However, it wasn’t until I stumbled upon a hidden gem, the elusive Star Wars Outlaws combat roll, that my experience truly took off!

As you progress deeper into the Star Wars Outlaws game, the combat becomes increasingly complex. Interestingly, I discovered there’s an undisclosed feature called the hidden Star Wars Outlaws combat roll, which isn’t explicitly explained in the game.

When navigating Ubisoft’s rendition of a distant galaxy, you might sometimes yearn for an escape from challenges. Surprisingly, there is a way to do just that, and here’s the method:

How to combat roll in Star Wars Outlaws

Many players have voiced their dissatisfaction over Ubisoft’s latest Star Wars game, stating that it seems unfinished when it comes to combat. Nevertheless, the incorporation of the Star Wars Outlaws combat roll offers a fresh alternative for players to try out amidst the chaos of battle.

To perform a combat roll in Star Wars Outlaws, follow these steps:

  • When moving hold a direction on the left stick 
  • Rapidly double-tap the crouch button (circle/B) and hold the direction to roll 
  • Be aware that you can also roll whilst aiming down sights 

As a gamer on PC, I appreciate having a separate key for the combat roll, rather than needing to double-tap. What’s more, this key can be reassigned to fit my unique gaming style for smoother and more efficient gameplay.

Why isn’t this known? 

In some instances, Outlaws fails to clearly demonstrate fundamental game mechanics to its players. As you progress through the game, you might inadvertently encounter several mechanics that have not been adequately explained.
