According to reports, the highly anticipated movie is set to resume production starting this week. Yet, it remains uncertain which actors will be participating during this shooting schedule.

The movie has been making waves after renowned Bollywood actor Nana Patekar politely declined an invitation to join the cast in this globe-trotting escapade. According to News18, the offer extended to him was to portray the father of Mahesh in this film. Remarkably, director SS Rajamouli personally visited Pune to narrate the script to the esteemed actor himself, demonstrating the significance attached to this role.
Despite rumors suggesting that he was involved in a massive project, actor Riteish Deshmukh clarified that he is not participating because the role did not appeal to him sufficiently. According to a source, the filmmaker visited Deshmukh’s farmhouse in Pune to discuss the script, but after an engaging conversation about ideas, Deshmukh expressed his reluctance to be part of the project, stating that it was not something he wished to do.
The actor was given an enormous sum of around 200 million rupees as payment, yet he chose to turn it down anyway.
29th film of the SSMB series is reportedly an action-packed jungle adventure movie featuring popular star Mahesh Babu as the main character. Known for its grand production, this upcoming project also features Priyanka Chopra Jonas in a significant role alongside him.
In addition to them, Malayalam film star Prithviraj Sukumaran is also involved in this project, taking on a significant role alongside the actor from Khaleja. Previously, TopMob had revealed that the movie will be released as a standalone production, rather than the initial plan of splitting it into two parts for cinematic release.
Although the entire cast hasn’t been announced yet, the movie is planned to resume shooting in 2026 and will likely hit theaters in 2027 for a spectacular premiere.
