[Spoiler] is leaving the 126 in the 911: Lone Star season 5 premiere

As a devoted fan of “911: Lone Star,” I can’t help but feel a mix of excitement and sadness with the upcoming season 5 premiere. On one hand, we finally have a release date for the new episodes, but on the other, we are bidding farewell to some beloved characters. I was already aware that Sierra McClain wouldn’t be returning as Grace, leaving an empty dispatcher spot. However, the recent news of Jim Parrack’s departure from the series as Judd Ryder came as a shock.

The fifth season of “911: Lone Star” now has an official premiere date, however, this announcement brings unfortunate news – there will be a change among the show’s cast members.

Previously announced was the departure of Sierra McClain’s character in the fifth season. Consequently, an open position for a dispatcher remains unfilled, with none equaling Grace’s exceptional abilities to fill the role.

In the premier episode of “911: Lone Star” season 5, McClain isn’t the sole cast member bidding farewell. Instead, we’ll be parting ways with an actor portraying a member of the 126 team.

Who will leave the 126 in the 911: Lone Star season 5 premiere?

According to TVLine, Jim Parrack’s character, Judd, is stepping down from the show due to personal reasons. He has to devote more time to caring for his son who became disabled towards the end of season 4. Instead of retiring right away, he was considering an early retirement to be able to provide the necessary care and support at home.

In simpler terms, the fourth season ended with some unresolved issues. There seemed to be an opportunity for his character, Judd, to reappear, but it seems like he has decided against it.

People who had concerns about how Grace’s departure might affect her relationship with Judd can rest easy. Initially, I shared their worries that the only solution for Grace and Judd to part ways was through Grace’s demise. However, with Judd also leaving the show, it seems plausible that they are collaborating off-screen to take care of Wyatt together.

Who will become lieutenant of the 126?

After Judd’s departure, Owen is tasked with selecting a new lieutenant. Both Marjan and Paul are contenders for the position, making Owen’s decision a challenging one. Both individuals have demonstrated exceptional firefighting skills and step up to lead when required.

Certainly, we’ll encounter some drama involving Carlos in “911: Lone Star,” given that this is a key element of the show. His unrelenting determination to unravel the mystery behind his father’s murder is commendable, yet it risks consuming him entirely. Meanwhile, TK will face challenges in supporting his husband due to an old acquaintance resurfacing from his past. Could this be a former flame from New York?

In the upcoming season, Tommy will make more appearances. She believes she’s prepared to advance in her relationship with Pastor Trevor. However, progress won’t come without challenges. Fortunately, it’s not Trevor’s daughter causing problems this time. Yet, not everyone might be thrilled about Tommy’s happiness. What about her own daughters?
