Spirit: Sandeep Reddy Vanga gets welcomed with chants for Don Lee with rumors of appearing in Prabhas starrer; says ‘wait for it…its worth waiting’

As a lifestyle expert who has been following the Indian film industry for over two decades, I must say that the upcoming collaboration between Prabhas and Sandeep Reddy Vanga is indeed an exciting development. The anticipation surrounding their cop action drama, Spirit, has been building up for quite some time now, and the recent rumors about Korean actor Don Lee potentially being a part of the film have only added to the intrigue.

Prabhas and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga are all set to collaborate for the first time with the cop action drama called Spirit. In a recent public interaction at an expo event, Sandeep was welcomed by fans chanting Korean actor Don Lee’s name who is rumored to appear in the film.

Regarding the query posed, the director responded in Telugu, “Be patient, it’s worth the wait.” Meanwhile, Sandeep was observed engaging with media representatives at the event. When asked about the film’s start date, he replied casually that it would commence shortly and further details would be shared later on.

It’s been buzzing and rumored for some time now that Don Lee might feature in the upcoming film starring Prabhas. If the whispers are true, this Korean actor, known for his work in Hollywood as well, could take on the role of the main villain in Prabhas’ movie. However, an official announcement regarding his involvement is still pending.

Moving forward, I’ve just learned from producer Bhushan Kumar that our movie will start filming soon, with an initial shot (muhurat) scheduled for December. The rest of the filming is set for 2025. Kumar also mentioned that the script is still being worked on by Sandeep and hinted that it’s going to be something unique, falling into a distinct category.

Beyond sharing details about the film’s main cast, the producer chose not to disclose anything, keeping fans on tenterhooks with their eagerness. Moving on to Prabhas’ recent projects, he was last seen starring as the lead actor in the movie titled Kalki 2898 AD.

In Nag Aswin’s film, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan shared leading roles, and it was an action-packed sci-fi movie set in a world after the apocalypse. Notably, the Legendary Star will play the lead character for the upcoming horror-comedy movie The Raja Saab, scheduled to premiere on April 10, 2025. Additionally, Prabhas is currently working alongside director Hanu Raghavapudi on his period film, which is tentatively titled Fauji.
