Indeed, some astute fans have noted that while Moore provides the voice for Miles Morales in the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse series, it’s Jharrel Jerome who voices the character from Earth-42 appearing at the end of the film. Given this, it seems more probable that Moore was referring to this being his third time participating in a Spider-Verse movie.

Sony Pictures has announced that they will debut Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse on June 4, 2027. Initially, the release date was set for March 29, 2024, but it was taken off the schedule in July 2023 due to production delays caused by writer and actor strikes.

According to Phil Lord, the narrative continues right where the second film left off and aims to push the limits of animation once more. Shameik Moore is set to return as Miles Morales, along with Hailee Steinfeld who will reappear as Gwen Stacy in the upcoming sequel.
