As a die-hard Marvel fan, I’ve been pondering about the intriguing title of the upcoming Spider-Man movie – “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.” Could this imply a fresh chapter in the Spidey saga, perhaps even a brand new trilogy unfolding? Only time will tell!
On March 31st, 2025, it was announced that the title of Spider-Man 4 would be “Spider-Man: A New Beginning.” Tom Holland will once again step into the shoes of Peter Parker, while Sadie Sink from Stranger Things has been enlisted for an as-yet-unspecified role in the movie.
What are MCU fans saying about Spider-Man: Brand New Day’s title?
In this instance, the first Marvel Cinematic Universe Spider-Man film that doesn’t have “Home” in its title is being welcomed by some fans as a departure from the longstanding tradition, while others are not fond of the shift in naming.
It was nice to see the new name,

I speak for everyone when I say Brand New Day is a mid name!

Among all the options they had, it’s almost unbelievable – who on earth is assigned to pen this script?

Simultaneously, some people speculate that the “Brand More Day” title might be hinting at a fresh series of Spider-Man films, each one incorporating the term “Day” within its title.
It’s likely that we’ll begin a fresh saga, known as the “Day” trilogy. Feel free to speculate on potential titles for this series!

As a gaming enthusiast, I’m eagerly awaiting the upcoming Spider-Man film, titled Spider-Man 4. While specific plot details are yet to be revealed, we know it will follow Avengers: Doomsday and precede Avengers: Secret Wars. Interestingly, Tom Holland, our current Spidey, was missing from the cast list for Avengers: Doomsday that was recently announced. However, with more Marvel Cinematic Universe stars than initially anticipated set to appear in this movie, there’s still a chance we might see our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man swing into action!
In a video presented at Cinemacon, Holland expressed regret for not being able to attend due to filming obligations halfway across the globe. He acknowledged the enormous cliffhanger from No Way Home and emphasized that Spider-Man: Brand New Day offers a fresh start. That’s all he could reveal.
Destin Daniel Cretton is the one helming this movie, having previously worked on Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. At one point, he was slated to direct the fourth Avengers film, but that was when Jonathan Majors was involved in the project, and the title was Avengers: The Kangaroo Dynasty.
On July 31, 2026, the new collaboration between Marvel Studios and Sony titled “Spider-Man: Fresh Start” is set to hit movie theaters across the USA.
