Disney has officially announced that the much-awaited fourth installment of the Spider-Man series within the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be released in exactly two years’ time.
When is the Spider-Man 4 release date?
As per a recent update from Deadline, it’s been confirmed that the premiere date for Spider-Man 4 is scheduled on July 24, 2026. This means the movie will hit the screens only two months after Avengers: Doomsday, which reportedly might also include Tom Holland portraying Spider-Man in some form or another.
Although details about Spider-Man 4 are still scarce, Tom Holland recently shared some insights into the movie during his recent interviews on talk shows. He mentioned that the filming for the movie is scheduled to start next year and hinted that it would be unlike anything fans might anticipate.
In September, Destin Daniel Cretton had discussions about taking on the director role for Spider-Man 4, replacing Jon Watts who directed the previous three movies centered around Tom Holland’s character. Notably, Cretton is recognized for his work directing Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Earlier, Cretton was chosen to direct Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, but he left the project just prior to Jonathan Majors’ dismissal from Marvel.
