As a diehard fan, I’m thrilled to share that Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 has just received a fresh update across all platforms! While Saber Interactive dives headfirst into Space Marine 3 development, they’re also dedicating years of their time to enhance our beloved game with regular updates.
The latest update from Saber Interactive brings in numerous additions such as a fresh emote system, a PvP map, a novel Operation called Battle Barge Datavault, a scary new Biovore enemy, and many more exciting features. Notably overlooked is the developers’ strategy to curb troublesome trolls in the game.
Space Marine 2 devs finally stop trolls
In the latest update for Space Marine 2 version 6.0, Saber has announced that they are eliminating the option for players to start a kick vote during the final stages of an Operation. Since the game’s release, some uncooperative players have been kicking others—including us—right before the end of an Operation, causing everyone to return to the Battle Barge empty-handed.
During the closing phases of an operation, you cannot start a ‘kick’ vote according to the latest updates.
For several months now, this tactic for disrupting gameplay among players, particularly on PC platforms, has become a frustrating trend. Although it’s less frequent given the shift towards a more dedicated player base, occasional incidents still occur.
For the foreseeable future, Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 will continue to receive updates, ensuring player satisfaction remains high. The development team is currently designing a unique Horde Mode and more Operations, with plenty of fresh content on the horizon for gamers.
