As a passionate South Indian movie enthusiast and someone who has followed the industry closely for years, I have to admit that this month’s cinema releases at the theaters have been underwhelming, to say the least. The highly anticipated Indian 2 starring Kamal Haasan failed to impress audiences, resulting in significant losses. However, as a beacon of hope, we have Raayan by Dhanush, which is set to hit the screens by the end of the month.
As a long-time fan of South Indian cinema, I must admit that this month’s theatre releases have been disappointing for me. The much-awaited movie “Indian 2” featuring Kamal Haasan didn’t live up to my expectations and left many audiences feeling let down, resulting in substantial financial losses. However, there is a glimmer of hope on the horizon. I’m excitedly looking forward to the upcoming release of “Raayan,” directed by Dhanush. Having followed both Kamal Haasan and Dhanush’s careers closely, I have faith that Dhanush’s latest production will deliver an exceptional cinematic experience.
For the delight of South Indian film enthusiasts, several excellent movies are now available on OTT platforms as a welcome relief. Notable among them are Maharaja and Aadujeevitham.
