As per the report, Sonic the Hedgehog 4 is currently scheduled for release in 2027 by Paramount Pictures. Although another film in the series was expected, a mention in the report provides some intrigue about other potential movies.

As reported by TheWrap, Paramount Pictures is considering creating movies based on the Sonic the Hedgehog series, with a possible focus on a film centered around Shadow the Hedgehog. Although no definite plans have been revealed, fans are excited about this possibility following the post-credits scene in Sonic the Hedgehog 3.
