What is Sonic the Hedgehog 3 about?
This holiday season, Sonic the Hedgehog is back on the big screen with his most exhilarating journey to date! Joining forces once more are Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails as they confront a formidable new enemy – Shadow, an enigmatic foe with powers beyond anything they’ve encountered before. With their skills outmatched in every aspect, Team Sonic embarks on a quest to forge an unexpected partnership in order to thwart Shadow and safeguard the planet.
In the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog film, Ben Schwartz reprises his role as Sonic, while the voice talent lineup also features Colleen O’Shaughnessey as Miles “Tails” Prower, Idris Elba as Knuckles the Echidna, and Keanu Reeves as Shadow the Hedgehog.
In the upcoming production, James Marsden is set to return as character Tom Wachowski. Joining him are actors like Tika Sumpter, Krysten Ritter, Natasha Rothwell, Cristo Fernández, Alyla Browne, among others, who make up the live-action cast.
The upcoming movie Sonic the Hedgehog 3, slated for release on December 20, 2024 in U.S. theaters, is helmed by Jeff Fowler – the same director who directed the previous two live-action films in the franchise. This film is distributed by Paramount Pictures.)
