Sobhita Dhulipala gracefully portrayed the radiance of a traditional South Indian bride as she entered the venue bearing a platter loaded with raw turmeric, accompanied by her female family members. During this occasion, she graciously accepted blessings from the elderly and the priest present, and actively engaged in the ritual by mashing the turmeric into a paste.
For those not familiar, the Pasupu Danchatam is a traditional Telugu celebration that signifies the beginning of a wedding within a family. Typically conducted by the female members from both the bride’s and groom’s households, it sets the wedding festivities in motion.
On August 8, 2024, it was announced that Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala were engaged. Ever since, numerous well-wishers have been extending their congratulations to the happily betrothed pair. The engagement news first surfaced when it was shared by Nagarjuna Akkineni, following a low-key ceremony that took place at Chay’s residence in Hyderabad, with only family members present.
The pair seemed to have been seeing each other for quite a while before deciding to get married. Regarding the actress’s professional life, Sobhita Dhulipala recently starred as the main character in a film titled Love, Sitara. This movie was released on streaming platforms like ZEE5 on September 27, 2024.
Conversely, Naga Chaitanya is currently working on his upcoming film titled “Thandel.” The story unfolds in the Srikakulam region and presents him as a character from a fishing community. In this project, directed by Chandoo Mondeti, Sai Pallavi takes on the leading female role. This marks the second time she has worked with Chay on a movie together.
