Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala have been married for approximately three months after getting hitched on December 4 last year. They recently opened up about their relationship in an exclusive conversation with Vogue India. A notable aspect of their discussion was when Sobhita shared the heartwarming story of how Chay proposed to her by getting down on one knee.

Instead of a sudden, dramatic turning point, “Made In Heaven” actress shared that their relationship developed organically without any specific realization moment. When the right time arrived for progression, they opted for a low-key strategy. Naga Chaitanya first interacted with her parents, and later she had the chance to meet his parents as well.

After receiving their families’ approval, the Thandel actor got down on one knee in a simple and unpretentious manner and asked his partner to spend the rest of her life with him. Looking back on the moment with amusement, Sobhita jokingly referred to it as “a crouch” rather than a conventional proposal.

Despite both Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya being of the same native language and working within the film industry, their personal lives were distinctly separate. Chay resided in Hyderabad, while the actress from The Night Manager was situated in Mumbai. He had spent his formative years in Chennai, contrasting with her upbringth in Visakhapatnam.

An intriguing aspect from the beginning of their interchanges was that Naga Chaitanya had chosen to follow her on Instagram, while she opted not to reciprocate at first.
