As a seasoned gamer and Disney enthusiast who grew up with the timeless tale of Snow White, I’m absolutely thrilled to see the live-action adaptation of this cherished classic. The trailer has rekindled my childhood memories while also promising a fresh take on the story.

Disney has unveiled the initial trailer for the live-action remake of “Snow White,” featuring Rachel Zegler as the lead character.

What happens in the Snow White trailer?

The teaser reveals a greater glimpse into the upcoming movie, starting with the Wicked Queen (Gal Gadot) being informed that Snow White surpasses them all in beauty. Additionally, the trailer depicts Zegler’s Snow White escaping and eventually meeting the seven dwarves who will later be her allies.

Snow White will be released in theaters on March 21, 2025.

In addition to Zegler and Gadot, Snow White will feature Andrew Burnap as Jonathan and Martin Klebba as Grumpy. Marc Webb is expected to direct and produce this project, with a screenplay by Greta Gerwig and Erin Cressida Wilson. The story and music from the original are set to be expanded upon. The songwriting duo behind La La Land and The Greatest Showman, Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, have also been enlisted to compose new tunes for this adaptation.
