As a gaming enthusiast, I just got an exclusive sneak peek at Rachel Zegler beltling out one of the fresh tunes from the upcoming movie, named “Waiting on a Wish.” This captivating melody is part of the extended tale and soundtrack that Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, the masterminds behind La La Land and The Greatest Showman, have crafted for this adaptation. Alongside Zegler, we’ve got Gal Gadot as the Wicked Queen, Andrew Burnap as Jonathan, Ansu Kaiba as the Huntsman, Martin Klebba as Grumpy, Patrick Page lending his voice to the Magic Mirror, and a whole host of other talented individuals.

The synopsis describes Disney’s Snow White as a live-action musical retelling of the 1937 film, set in a magical world filled with music. It takes us back to the beloved characters like Bashful, Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, and Sneezy within the enduring tale.

The movie is inspired by Disney’s initial animated masterpiece, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, which made its debut more than 80 years ago and marked the beginning of Disney’s dominance in animated films. This story was also based on the German fairy tale penned by the Brothers Grimm in 1812. The film is helmed by Marc Webb as director and producer, with a script written by Greta Gerwig and Erin Cressida Wilson. This production falls under Disney’s expanding roster of upcoming live-action adaptations, which includes Hercules, Lilo & Stitch, and Bambi.
