The long-anticipated action thriller by director A.R. Murugadoss featuring Sivakarthikeyan has officially begun production, now boasting a title. This upcoming Tamil movie has just revealed its initial glimpse, and it’s clear that Sivakarthikeyan is gearing up to set new standards with his acting prowess once more.
On X (previously known as Twitter), the creators of Sri Lakshmi Movies revealed the initial glimpse of Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming film, directed by AR Murugadoss. The film has been renamed Madharasi and is set to be distributed in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.

In this thrilling video, Sivakarthikeyan can be seen bravely taking on challenges and firing away. Notably, he showcased an incredibly rough, tough appearance, executing the action-packed scenes with great skill and precision.
The video additionally showcases a brief appearance by actor Vidyut Jammwal, ready to portray the villain’s character.

In this movie, the music is created by Anirudh Ravichander. A brief taste of this music can be found in the intriguing background melody that was presented during the film’s initial sneak peek.
For those not familiar, Madharsi will be the first project where SK and AR Murugadoss work together. The film is penned and helmed by the latter. Initially planned to premiere during Diwali 2024 in cinemas, it has since been moved to a 2025 release date.
