Skoda UK unveils its most potent Octavia vRS yet, tailored to boost the efficiency of police fleets with a powerful 261 horsepower from an upgraded 2L TSI engine. The freshly launched Octavia vRS, offered in both hatchback and estate forms, generates 272 pound-feet of torque via a seven-speed DSG transmission and VAQ electrohydraulic differential, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 6.4 seconds.
Compared to regular models, the new Octavia vRS boasts a 15mm reduced ride height for better handling, which can be augmented by the available Dynamic Chassis Control. The second-gen LED Matrix headlights boost visibility, and a 13-inch infotainment screen along with a 10.25-inch virtual dashboard make it easy to access crucial driving information quickly.
Designed with adaptability in mind, the Octavia vRS Estate offers a spacious 640-liter cargo area. Safety is never compromised, as it comes equipped with Automated Emergency Braking, Predictive Pedestrian Protection, Blind Spot Detection and Turn Assist to prevent side collisions, and Drowsiness Assist that monitors driver fatigue by tracking steering inputs and lane movements to help avoid head-on crashes.
