SK25: Sivakarthikeyan tags Sudha Kongara ‘meticulous’ amid buzz about their spat, expresses excitement to work with Jayam Ravi

Sivakarthikeyan has been riding high on success following the triumph of his movie “Amaran” at the box office. With the stunning conclusion of the film directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, the actor is now ready to team up with Sudha Kongara for the upcoming project SK25.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, conducted by Anupama Chopra, Sivakarthikeyan finally shared some details about the eagerly awaited project known as SK25.

He admitted the upcoming movie will be a grand-scale production set in a specific time period, and they’ve already filmed promotional material for it.

According to him, we initiated it recently and the promotional shoot took place just two days ago. We’re still shooting now. It’s a large-scale period drama that promises an even more expansive presentation. He exclaimed, “Sreeleela, Atharva, and GV Prakash are all involved. The music is being composed by GV Prakash, while Ravi K. Chandran is handling the camera.

Apart from that, SK was equally thrilled about collaborating with the skilled actor, Jayam Ravi. He emphasized his joy in having PS-I’s leading man join the cast, who will take on the role of the villain in this production.

SK tagged Jayam Ravi, his senior, and recalled seeing the latter’s films while he was in college.

Sivakarthikeyan shared, “What’s thrilling is Jayam Ravi is on board. He isn’t exactly a villain, but he’s playing the antagonist role. I was overjoyed when he agreed to it. The character is incredibly powerful.

As Sivakarthikeyan concluded his speech, he spoke fondly of collaborating with director Sudha Kongara, praising her for her extraordinary attention to detail and forward planning, which made the production process smooth and stress-free.
