As an avid fan of SJ Suryah, I can’t help but be in awe of his versatility and dedication to his craft. His recent interview about working on Raayan with Dhanush only solidified my admiration for him even more.
SJ Suryah, who turns 56 on July 20, 2024, shared his thoughts about collaborating with Dhanush on the film “Raayan” during a recent interview. He likened his character to that of the wolf in “Royapuram,” drawing a comparison to Leonardo DiCaprio’s role in “The Wolf of Wall Street.”
Additionally, Dhanush shared that he had far less dubbing work for the role in Mark Antony compared to what was required. He mentioned that due to differing directorial styles and preferences, he aimed to include more of his own expressions in the movie.
SJ Suryah on working in Raayan with Dhanush
When it comes to working with Dhanush as both an actor and director in Raayan, SJ Suryah shared some insights. He revealed that Dhanush is meticulously attentive to every detail within the frame. In fact, he personally designs each element, manages the lighting, sets, and all other aspects of production. Essentially, Dhanush immerses himself in every phase of the project.
At the cinemas recently, SJ Suryah appeared in Kamal Haasan’s film, Indian 2. In this Shankar-directed production, he took on a pivotal role as the primary antagonist, and based on the plot developments, we can expect him to have a larger presence in the upcoming sequel, Indian 3.
In addition, due to Nani’s actor’s birthday, the creators of the film “Saripodhaa Sanivaaram” released a special sneak peek named “Not A Teaser.” This preview included a voice-over by Nani himself, linking SJ Suryah’s character to the mythological figure Narakasura.
