To celebrate its 25th anniversary, Size? collaborates with BILLY’s Tokyo and adidas on a special three-part partnership called the “Sapporo Collection”. This collection reimagines the traditional Adidas Munich design, allowing each partner to contribute their unique creative vision to the project.

Each shoe is individually designed, showcasing the unique creativity of its designer, although they appear as a collaborative project. BILLY’S Tokyo collection takes cues from whiskey barrels, symbolizing the UK’s renowned liquor that has found a home in Japanese culture. The shoes also draw inspiration from brick structures, with their brown upper and textured leather and suede details reminiscent of aged whiskey’s warmth and sophisticated ruggedness. A Japanese engraving of “Sapporo” adorns the side, bringing cultural depth and artisanal charm. The combination of rough and smooth materials mimics the character of whiskey – robust yet refined.

Instead, let’s consider an alternate description: Unlike other designs, this one symbolically represents a significant event – the iconic goal scored by David Beckham during the 2002 World Cup match at Sapporo Dome, which clinched England’s victory over Argentina.
