Sivakarthikeyan tags Kamal Haasan with a special prefix, claims ‘Why restricting it with just…’

100 days after hitting theaters, Sivakarthikeyan‘s latest film, Amaran (a war biographical drama), has been a success. On Valentine’s Day, an event was held to celebrate this achievement by the movie’s creators and director. A gathering of people connected with the Tamil film industry attended this evening event. However, it was Sivakarthikeyan’s heartfelt tribute to Kamal Haasan that stood out during the ceremony.

For those unfamiliar, Kamal Haasan has produced the action film “Sivakarthikeyan’s War,” which tells the story of Major Mukund Varadarajan’s life and his heroic sacrifice. At the event, Kamal Haasan, known for his role in Parasakthi, made a unique remark about the veteran actor.

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but shift my gaze from the captivating world of Amaran towards the intriguing new venture that has captured our collective imagination – Thug Life, starring none other than Kamal Haasan and directed by the legendary Mani Ratnam. It’s a project we’re all eagerly anticipating!

Furthermore, Sivakarthikeyan stated that as KH has prohibited anyone from referring to him as ‘Ulaganayagan’, he will instead bestow a new title upon the veteran star; Vinveli Nayagan, translating to ‘hero of the space’, in light of his appreciation for the teaser of Thug Life.

Sivakarthikeyan expressed, “Vikram and Amaran are completed… We’re eagerly anticipating Thug Life Part 3, or ‘Thirumalai’ as you prefer not to be called. However, Mani Ratnam unveiled a captivating teaser and bestowed upon us the title ‘Subsequent Nayagan.’ Why limit it to ‘City Nayagan?’ ‘Subsequent Nayagan’ seems more fitting.

In November 2024, the Indian actor known as “2” made a public announcement via social media, asking people to avoid using titles and honorifics such as “Ulaganayagan” when addressing him.

Instead of using pet names or titles, he preferred to be known by his first name alone, out of respect for his audience.

On the professional side, both Sivakarthikeyan and Kamal Haasan are busy with an interesting array of projects.

In the upcoming productions, Parasakthi will be directed by Sudha Kongara, whereas Kamal Haasan is set to star in Indian 3 and also work on Thug Life.
