As a dedicated fan of “Found,” I can’t contain my excitement for the upcoming second season! The NBC procedural, created by Nkechi Okoro Carroll (“All American”), made its debut last year during a barren landscape of new scripted television due to Hollywood strikes. With minimal competition, “Found” had the perfect opportunity to establish a strong foundation for its intriguing storyline.

As a passionate gamer, I’m excited to share that I’m looking forward to diving back into “Found” season 2! This NBC procedural entered the scene last year when there was a scarcity of new scripted broadcast shows due to Hollywood strikes. With the playing field nearly empty, “Found,” created by Nkechi Okoro Carroll (known for “All American”), had an excellent opportunity to find its footing without much competition. Now that it’s reeled us in with its captivating storyline, we can buckle up for a thrilling 22-episode journey!

The first season of the show concluded with Sir escaping and Gabi’s life unraveling, as those close to her discovered she had been keeping him imprisoned. Predictably, Lacey was deeply affected. Despite their shared past as victims, Gabi had kept Lacey in the dark about Sir’s whereabouts, allowing her to believe he was at large instead of being held captive in Gabi’s basement.

I’m thrilled that Sir is no longer a mystery to us now! In the last scene, he was sneakily hiding in Lacey’s closet while she ignored Gabi’s phone call. But thanks to the season teaser trailer, we finally get a glimpse into Sir’s wicked plans for his past victim. Curious? Take a peek below:

From my perspective as a fan, Lacey finds herself caught in the crossfire between Sir and Gabi. She’s not an instrument of retaliation for Gabi, but rather a tool for Sir’s desire for vengeance against her. It’s not about Gabi getting back at him for the time he stole from her in their teenage years. Instead, it’s his unyielding fixation on Lacey that fuels his anger. As he declares in the trailer, “I warned you not to end us.” What infuriates him most is Lacey’s attempt to break away from their connection, and he refuses to let that happen.

Although being with her is crucial for him, it might ultimately lead to his downfall. She understands that assisting the team in solving their missing persons cases is significant to him. This role, she argues, is what will draw him in. And just when you least expect it, the devil himself may show up at Gabi’s firm, providing an opportunity for him to cross paths with Margaret.

The outcome is uncertain if Sir will take drastic measures such as harming or even killing one of Gabi’s cherished people, but this provides him ample opportunity to act according to his desires and bring them closer together. Currently, all options are on the table for him since he has abducted Lacey once more and made it clear that he is not hesitant to disrupt Gabi’s life further.
