The renowned Bonhams Cars will soon put up for bidding the Sun Valley Commission, an exceptionally unique 1990 Porsche 911 that underwent a creative transformation by Singer, marking the inaugural piece from their innovative Classic Turbo restoration program available to the public.

This significant automobile represents Singer’s first foray into turbocharging – it is constructed using the air-cooled 964 chassis and takes inspiration from the renowned 930 Turbo model. Hidden beneath its hood is a 3.8L twin-turbocharged Mezger flat-six engine, which sends an impressive 510 horsepower to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transaxle. The vehicle offers adjustable sport suspension, carbon ceramic Brembo brakes, and advanced safety features such as ABS and traction control. This unique blend of traditional excitement with modern accuracy is what sets it apart.

The Sun Valley Commission sports a unique Dirty Oak Green Metallic exterior paint, applied onto lightweight carbon fiber panels manufactured in the UK. Inside, the cabin impresses with ivory leather, olive weaving accents, and green carpeting – a tribute to the original 930, yet modernized for contemporary tastes. This exclusive edition also includes a Singer Reimagined Flytrack watch, specifically designed and numbered to match, along with documentation of its unique build.

Originally tested by motoring journalist Chris Harris in a 40-minute video, this Sun Valley Commission car has only traveled 267 miles since its restoration.
