The suspense, the drama, the intrigue – it’s all there, just like in those endless hours spent battling mutants or scavenging for resources in post-apocalyptic landscapes.


As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that Apple TV+ has unveiled the official Season 2 trailer for “Silo,” the gripping sci-fi drama starring the talented Rebecca Ferguson as Juliette. This eagerly anticipated return begins streaming from November 15, with the premiere episode, followed by a new episode every Friday through January 17, 2025. Can’t wait to dive back in!

The summary goes like this: “This tale revolves around the lives of the final 10,000 people on Earth, living in a massive shelter shielding them from the hazardous world beyond. Yet, the reasons for constructing this colossal shelter remain unknown, and anyone who attempts to uncover these secrets meets with grave consequences. Ferguson plays the role of Juliette, an engineer, who is driven by the murder of a loved one to seek answers. In doing so, she stumbles upon a mystery far greater than she could have ever imagined, which eventually leads her to learn that while falsehoods might not kill you, the truth certainly will.

What happens in the Silo Season 2 trailer?

The video hints at Juliette’s survival following her unveiling of the Silo’s secrets, sparking a narrative about her influence on the Silo dwellers that ultimately ignites a rebellion. Besides Ferguson, Season 2 will feature an impressive cast including Tim Robbins, Common, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, Alexandria Riley, Shane McRae, Remmie Milner, Clare Perkins, Billy Postlethwaite, Rick Gomez, Caitlin Zoz, Tanya Moodie and Iain Glen. Joining them is the new addition, Steve Zahn.

The series “Silo” was developed and produced by showrunner Graham Yost, who drew inspiration from Hugh Howey’s post-apocalyptic novel series of the same title. The executive producers for this series are Ferguson, Yost, Ben Brafman, Jon Midlane, Fred Golan (twice), Cassie Pappas, Ingrid Escajeda, Remi Aubuchon, Hugh Howey, and Nina Jack. Aric Avelino, Ben Brafman, and Joanna Thapa serve as producers on this project.
