The initial snapshot of Rohan Campbell portraying Billy Chapman in the remake of “Silent Night, Deadly Night” has been unveiled.

Currently, filming is happening in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Deadline has released an exclusive snapshot of the set from Cinverse’s holiday slasher production. The image shows Billy, without a shirt, gazing intently into a mirror.

Who is involved in the Silent Night, Deadly Night reboot?

Tranquil Night, Fatal Night introduces Campbell’s character, Billy Chapman, who, as a child, saw the brutal slaying of his parents by a Santa Claus imposter. Growing up in a harsh Catholic orphanage, Billy struggled to cope with the trauma. As a young adult, he reached a breaking point, donned a Santa suit, and began a violent rampage.

Beyond Campbell, I’m thrilled to see Ruby Modine shining as Pamela in this production. Notably, Mark Acheson, David Lawrence Brown, and David Tomlinson are also joining the cast. It’s going to be a fantastic show with such a talented ensemble!

The remake of Silent Night, Deadly Night is penned and helmed by Mike P. Nelson, known for his work on Wrong Turn and V/H/S/85. The production team includes Scott Schneid and Dennis Whitehead, who were also involved in the 1984 original, alongside Jamie R. Thompson, Erik Bernard, and Jeremy Torrie.

Steven Schneider, Anthony Masi, Sarah Eilts, Brandon Hill, Brad Miska, Erick Opeka, Yolanda Macias, Matthew Helderman, and Luke Taylor are all included.

1984 saw me captivated by the chilling masterpiece, Silent Night, Deadly Night, directed by Charles E. Sellier Jr. I was drawn into the story of Billy Chapman, portrayed by Robert Brian Wilson. This movie stirred up a storm, with many parents rallying against its release and even demanding it be pulled from cinemas. The controversy only fueled my fascination, as it transformed into a cult favorite. With a modest budget of $750,000, it managed to gross an impressive $2.5 million at the box office.
