Putting the chair together
Upon opening the Sihoo Doro C300 Pro, we discovered that every item was carefully protected within its packaging, utilizing plenty of cushioning to shield components during transit. Each individual part was either swathed or confined in a box, reducing potential damage risk, while sturdy cardboard separated the main sections of the chair. Although most of the packaging can be manually discarded, having a pair of scissors nearby will speed up and simplify the process.

Unlike many comparable chairs that come partially assembled, the Sihoo Doro C300 Pro requires slightly more effort to set up, but this extra work (around 20 minutes or more) is justified by the value it offers the user. The individual wheelbase spokes and armrest sections need manual assembly and screwing in. However, the included instruction manual is clear and well-structured, and a helpful YouTube video is available for guidance during assembly.
As a gamer, I’m always excited to open a new game setup that comes with all the necessary pieces neatly organized in labeled packaging, making it a breeze to identify each part. Plus, this kit even includes two hex keys (Allen wrenches) for assembly, so no need for me to scramble around looking for my own tools!
Initially, our chair assembly process started with fixing the silver spokes to the wheelbase’s center part. Before doing so, we removed the protective plastic covers. We then used the provided washers and screws to fasten them securely. After that, without needing any extra tools, we manually inserted the casters into their places – it required a bit of effort though. Lastly, the hydraulic piston was placed and covered with its corresponding sleeve.
In the seating area, we first built it independently before connecting it to the base with wheels. Following that, we constructed the armrests by using several screws and washers. Once the armrests were finished, we linked them to the backrest and ensured everything was tightly fastened. Lastly, we attached the headrest, completing the setup process, and added a decorative Sihoo logo cover to hide the screws where the headrest is fixed.
All told, it takes around an hour to put together the chair. If you’re new to putting together office chairs or comparable furniture, the process might take a bit more time, but thanks to the clear guidelines and tools given, it’s generally a manageable task.

They can be raised or lowered by 6.8 centimeters (2.68 inches), moved forward or backward by 4.8 centimeters (1.89 inches), slid inward or outward by 8 centimeters (3.15 inches), and rotated inward or outward by 70 degrees. They can also flip upwards by 35 degrees to offer personalized arm support. Furthermore, the design incorporates a “tilt linkage” system, ensuring that the armrests move synchronously with the backrest for optimal ergonomics.
Adjustable Seat-Back Angle: The synchronized tilt mechanism provides three different recline positions – 105 degrees, 120 degrees, and 135 degrees.
