As a seasoned gamer with a soft spot for unique experiences and a knack for spotting hidden gems, I can’t help but be drawn to this extraordinary fundraiser for Ellis Park Wildlife Sanctuary. The lineup of celebrity donations is nothing short of astonishing, and the cause itself is one that resonates deeply with my love for wildlife and conservation.
As a devoted fan, I’d like to highlight that Norman Reedus is a multitalented individual who wears various hats with ease. He’s an accomplished actor, writer, former model, and gifted photographer. Over the years while filming in Georgia, he snapped some breathtaking images, even a series of road kill photos during his journeys on back roads to and from the set. You can enter a draw to own one of this celebrated artist’s favorite Reedus photographs and make a positive impact with your donation.
As a passionate gamer, I’ve chipped in alongside other renowned figures in contributing unique items for a raffle aimed at bolstering Ellis Park Wildlife Sanctuary. This remarkable sanctuary, established by JAAN (Jakarta Animal Aid Network) in 2021 in collaboration with Lorinda Jane (Palm Oil Investigations), is a refuge for rescued wildlife who are either physically handicapped or too traumatized to return to their natural habitats.
“At Ellis Park, I get to be part of something truly meaningful. Here, we serve as an educational hub, enlightening both locals and park visitors about the detrimental effects of wildlife exploitation in tourism and the success stories of animals rescued from illegal pet trading and smuggling.”
Andrew Reedus has generously donated an autographed 20×16 photograph titled “Sub-Basement Of Maximum Security Prison In Moscow,” captured during the filming of “Moscow Chill” in 2007. The image depicts two prisoners and a kitten in a kitchen setting, with Reedus sneakily taking the photo despite not being allowed to do so during his tour. The basement’s condition is evident from the damaged walls and doorway, yet the green background adds a touch of life and rejuvenation. The out-of-focus kitten in the foreground lends a gentle tone to the otherwise grim photograph. Purchase raffle tickets here.

In this raffle, you’ll find other exciting prizes. These include a custom Gucci suit provided by Nick Cave and a vintage Fender Jazz Bass that has been personally modified and inscribed by Flea, the bassist of Red Hot Chili Peppers. Courtney Love contributed the original lyrics for Hole’s “Violet.” However, Billy Corgan from Smashing Pumpkins may have something to say about them as they are said to be “about a guy I know a little bit.” Lastly, Michael Imperioli offered a signed script from The Sopranos episode “The Two Tonys.” Good luck!
