As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent navigating the digital landscapes of various worlds, I can confidently say that when it comes to Star Wars Outlaws, one should always trust their instincts and the path less traveled. The offer for a VIP Invite may seem tempting, especially when faced with an obstacle like Gorak’s elevator, but my experience has taught me that such deals often come with a hefty dose of deception.
Upon your initial entrance into Makal’s cantina as depicted in Star Wars Outlaws, a dealer situated nearby extends an intriguing proposition. He boasts about possessing a VIP Pass to a crucial location, provided you have enough credits. Do you choose to take up the invitation or decide to move on?
Should you accept the invite or walk away in Star Wars Outlaws?
1. To reach Gorak’s suit upstairs, you’ll have to find a way. The broker suggests buying an invite for 50 credits, which he claims can open the elevator and grant access. At this stage in the game, those 50 credits might seem expensive. Additionally, it’s uncertain if it will work, so it’s wiser to steer clear of the suspicious character who frequents this questionable establishment.
After some examination, you’ll uncover a fairly straightforward path leading to your destination. However, beware if you choose to purchase the invitation, as it turns out to be misleading. The invitation, in fact, is false and provides no benefit. In the end, you’ll have to take the free route regardless.
Head to the back of the bar, veer towards the right corner. Beyond the inaccessible elevator door, you’ll discover a compact storage room. Enter it, and against the farthest wall is a vent. Uncover it, crawl inside, and follow the path around until you drop down on the opposite side of the elevator. From there, you can turn on the elevator to ascend upstairs.
Your disguise won’t hold for much longer. Gorak is likely to figure out quickly that you’re not someone he knows, and once he does, it’s all over. However, before that happens, Nix will get an opportunity to snatch something from Gorak.
Upon your return downstairs, you’ll meet a new character named Danka, along with the syndicate system. The way it works is that you can’t align yourself exclusively with one of them without causing friction among the others. Consequently, you’ll need to maintain a delicate balance in who you choose to work for. This involves completing missions to win their favor and secure access to larger job opportunities.
It seems Gorak belongs within this setup, so consider keeping your bond with him for now. It might prove beneficial to be on his favor at certain stages of the game, and an opportunity to achieve that could come up sooner rather than later.
