Shock Twist: Unlikely Doctor Becomes Chief in Pulse Finale!

On Netflix, you can stream the captivating medical drama series called “Pulse“, where viewers are on tenterhooks to discover who ultimately clinches the role as Chief at the show’s conclusion. The narrative unfolds around the tumultuous happenings and intrigue among the residents of Maguire Medical Center in Miami. A significant plot thread revolves around the challenging predicament that forces two long-time friends, third-year residents Dr. Danielle “Danny” Simms and Dr. Sam Elijah, into competition for the prestigious title of Chief Resident.

In the final episode of Netflix’s Pulse, it is revealed who takes on the role of Chief Resident at Maguire Medical Center.

Does Sam Elijah become the Chief or Danny in Pulse?

Sam Elijah ends up getting the Chief Resident position instead of Danny in Netflix’s Pulse.

Over the course of the season, Danny was steadfast in her pursuit of the prestigious role, possessing the abilities needed to claim it. Yet, her lack of faith in her competence frequently hindered her progress. Consequently, she often sought validation from Xander, who encouraged her to strive for the title of Chief Resident and give it her best shot. However, complications arose when Danny lodged a complaint against Xander for inappropriate behavior. This incident sparked significant changes within the department, leading to simmering disputes over who would eventually become the Chief.

Due to her complaint, Xander was temporarily removed from his position and Danny stepped up as the interim Chief instead. She subsequently demonstrated her capabilities, silencing any doubts about her abilities, and even drew the admiration of Dr. Natalie Cruz. Impressed by her performance, Cruz began considering Danny for the role of the new Chief Resident. However, events took an unexpected turn before she could formally appoint her as such.

As it turns out, the criticism leveled against Xander that led to his dismissal from his role reached my ears, as I’m a significant contributor to the hospital. Incensed by the predicament, Xander’s mother demanded Danny’s termination, but Cruz defended him instead. This tug-of-war in power created a divide, leading to the Surgery and Emergency Medicine Department splitting into two separate entities. As a result, Cruz now heads only the Surgery and Emergency Medicine departments, with a new leader for the other. Given his ongoing disputes with Cruz, this doctor opted to undermine her decision and bestowed the Chief Resident position on Sam Elijah, rather than Danny.
