Over the past weekend, Shibarium, the main Layer-2 solution within the Shiba Inu community, experienced a brief network interruption that influenced its functionality. Notably, Kaal Dhairya, a well-known Shiba Inu developer, reported this issue and provided insights regarding the ongoing situation on X platform.
Some validators on Shibarium, which are organizations responsible for verifying transactions and maintaining network integrity, encountered networking issues, resulting in a brief interruption of the service.
Although Shibarium’s network has bounced back, some features like Shibariumscan and external RPCs remain inaccessible, indicating that the team continues to tackle certain technical problems behind the scenes.
Dhairy mentioned that Shibarium experienced a brief interruption due to networking troubles among its validators. The network has since been restored, but certain features like Shibariumscan and external RPCs may continue to be unavailable until specified actions are taken.
Dhairya invites members of external teams working on our platform’s infrastructure, including RPC, to connect with us better through shared Slack and Telegram channels. This is particularly important since some services are currently down.
In spite of the brief interruption, the cost of Shiba Inu hasn’t encountered significant selling pressure. At present, the SHIB price is rising by 2.8% to $0.00002727 based on current reports. Additionally, factors including an increase in SHIB burning rate, robust whale transactions, and the Bitcoin halving are anticipated to boost the price growth of SHIB further. Historically, a Bitcoin halving has triggered a substantial rally for the crypto market as a whole.
Shibarium Gets UI Update
A noteworthy event occurred concurrently with the rollout of the new User Interface (UI) update on the second-layer protocol. This enhancement was designed to seamlessly link Shibarium with major networks, ultimately improving the user experience across the blockchain.
The Shibarium team announced that they have broadened the wallet options for connecting with MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Rainbow, Trust Wallet, and Wallet Connect, enabling users to link their Shibas using the preferred method.
With this latest UI improvement, you can anticipate improved functionality, ensuring a swifter, glider-like interaction, and an intuitive interface for users. It underscores Shibarium’s dedication to expanding accessibility and simplifying the experience in the realm of Decentralized Finance (DeFi).
