FKA Twigs’ legal dispute with Shia LaBeouf has been concluded, as she has chosen to withdraw her lawsuit. Court documents filed on July 21 indicate that the British singer asked for the case to be dismissed permanently, meaning the allegations can never be brought up again. Her lawyer, Bryan Freedman, submitted this request on her behalf.

The agreement was officially endorsed through a shared statement issued by the lawyers involved. Freedman and LaBeouf’s legal counsel, Shawn Holley, stated, “Determined to pave a positive way ahead, we have decided to resolve our dispute outside of court. Although the specific terms of the settlement will be kept confidential, we hope for each other’s personal well-being, professional prosperity, and tranquility in the future.” (US Weekly)

In 2020, Tahliah Debrett Barnett, better known as FKA Twigs, initiated a lawsuit against Shia LaBeouf, accusing him of inflicting physical, emotional, and mental harm during their relationship that started in 2018 following their encounter on the set of Honey Boy. Their romantic involvement concluded in 2019.

In her statement, Barnett detailed multiple occurrences of mistreatment she experienced. This encompassed being violently pushed against a car, choked while asleep, and enduring verbal and psychological torment. Additionally, she claimed that LaBeouf intentionally passed on a sexually transmitted infection to her. However, LaBeouf has continuously maintained his innocence regarding any wrongdoing allegations.

Over time, this case has experienced multiple push-backs in its schedule, initially slated for 2023. Unfortunately, there’s no definite reschedule date provided. Now, the court records indicate that the entire case has been dropped.
