Her roles as Brenda Walsh on Beverly Hills 90210 and Prue Halliwell on Charmed were a significant part of my childhood, and her talent and charisma left an indelible mark on Hollywood.

Famous for her portrayals as Brenda Walsh on “Beverly Hills, 90210” and Prue Halliwell on “Charmed,” Doherty tragically passed away after a long fight against breast cancer at the age of 53. Her diagnosis with this disease was confirmed in the year 2015.

With deep sadness, I announce that actress Shannen Doherty passed away on July 13, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Her loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend was by her side, along with her cherished dog, Bowie, when she took her final breath. The family requests privacy at this time as they mourn their loss.

I first gained recognition as a child actress starring in “Little House on the Prairie,” “Our House,” and “Girls Just Want to Have Fun.” I then went on to play a significant role in Kevin Smith’s film “Mallrats” as Rene Mosier, and made a cameo in “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.” More recently, my work includes appearances in the films “Fortress,” “Hot Seat,” and “Darkness of Man,” as well as roles on TV shows like “Heathers,” “Riverdale,” and “BH90210.”
