Shah Rukh Khan says he’s friends with Mahesh Babu, Thalapathy Vijay, Prabhas and others, but has just ONE request for them

The ongoing dispute between North and South film industries has been long-standing. Lately, though, there’s been a shift towards a nationwide approach to movie production, blurring the lines between these two sectors. Notably, Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan has recently made a special remark about his ‘South actor friends’.

In the widely shared video on social networking sites, Shah Rukh Khan (SRK), at a public gathering, warmly spoke to his fans in the South region. Subsequently, he paid tribute to actors such as Allu Arjun, Prabhas, Ram Charan, Yash, Mahesh Babu, Thalapathy Vijay, Rajinikanth, and Kamal Haasan, affectionately referring to them as his friends.

Moreover, there’s more to share. SRK humorously asked his fellow stars and cherished friends to slow down the pace of their dance routines, as it gets challenging for him to match and maintain rhythm in his own space.

Without argument, it’s undeniable that top actors from the south frequently draw notice for their flawless dancing skills in movies. Moreover, catchy and lively dance sequences are regularly included in their films, many of which eventually become iconic parts of those productions.

In his own right, the dashing figure of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, has partnered and created magic with numerous stars from the South film industry. Off-camera, he maintains warm relationships with many of them to this day.

In 2001, the actor teamed up with Tamil star Ajith Kumar in the movie Asoka, whereas he joined forces with Nayanthara in the 2023 film Jawan.

2025 appears to be shaping up as a stellar year for the Southern film industry, with an array of outstanding movies expected in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam films.
