As a gamer who’s been through the trials and tribulations of gritty war zones, open-world apocalypses, and epic space odysseys, Little Kitty, Big City was a breath of fresh air that I didn’t know I needed. This game took me on a whimsical journey like no other, and it’s safe to say that it has officially won the title of “Best Cozy Game of 2024” in my book.

This year, I was captivated by the unique storyline of Double Dagger Studio in the indie gaming world: Little Kitty, Big City. As a player, I strolled through a sprawling metropolis with a lost kitten, free from the hustle and bustle that typically characterizes city life. Instead, I was invited to explore at my own pace, engage in heartwarming antics, make new acquaintances, and even experiment with various hats. The ultimate goal might be finding home, but with so much joy to discover, why rush?

Although Shacknews didn’t provide a comprehensive review for Little Kitty, Big City, the game has undeniably touched our hearts since we first played it at this year’s Game Developers Conference. With an abundance of charm hidden within its small and endearing design, both our team and readers have grown to love every moment of this adventure.

In a remarkable debut, Double Dagger Studio impressed us with Little Kitty, Big City. We eagerly anticipate what this talented team will unveil next.
