As a dedicated member of the Shackbattle community, I can wholeheartedly say that Wreckfest has been a constant source of adrenaline-pumping entertainment for me over the years. This year’s edition of the demolition racer was no exception, delivering a rollercoaster ride of thrills, spills, and unforgettable finishes that have become synonymous with Shackbattle events.
Year after year, Wreckfest continues to be a beloved choice in our Shackbattle gatherings, and once more, it’s been honored with an award. The thrilling demolition racing experience offered by Bugbear Entertainment never fails to bring us endless joy and moments we won’t forget. This year was no exception; another memorable chapter has been added to its story.
The immense power of Wreckfest as a Shackbattle game lies in its capacity. As many as 24 players can participate in a single race, catering to large numbers of participants. This becomes particularly significant during Wednesday Shack Battles when attendance is high. Moreover, Wreckfest offers the convenience of private servers, allowing for easy assembly in a lobby and enabling flexible gameplay according to our preferences.
Since its debut, Wreckfest has consistently been a standout in this gaming category. However, this upcoming year carries special importance because it marks the last Shacknews Awards before the release of Wreckfest 2 in 2025. We can only speculate how it will stack up against the original game, but let’s keep our fingers crossed that we can explore uncharted territories in Shackbattles next year.
