Severance Season 3 Renewal Set, Ben Stiller Issues Statement

App Television Plus has officially confirmed the renewal for Season 3 of the critically acclaimed sci-fi series “Severance,” having completed its 10-episode second season. Ever since its premiere in 2022, this show has consistently garnered excellent ratings on Rotten Tomatoes, boasting a Tomatometer score of 96%.

The suspenseful TV series set in the office is developed and penned by Dan Erickson. Notably, he also assumes roles as executive producer alongside director Ben Stiller and main actor Adam Scott. The recently released season welcomes back several original cast members including Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, Zach Cherry, Jen Tullock, Michael Chernus, Dichen Lachman, John Turturro, Christopher Walken, and Patricia Arquette. Moreover, this season introduces new characters played by Sarah Bock, Bob Balaban, Robby Benson, Stefano Carannante, Gwendoline Christie, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, John Noble, Alia Shawkat and Merritt Wever.

What did Ben Stiller say about the Severance Season 3 renewal?

In an announcement, Stiller shared his eagerness for the upcoming sequel. Earlier, he was recognized with two Emmy nominations – one for Exceptional Drama Series and another for Exceptional Direction in a Drama Series – due to his contributions to the first edition.

Speaking about the production of “Severance”, Stiller expressed that it was one of the most creatively thrilling ventures he’s ever participated in. He added, “I’m informed that shooting season three will be just as enjoyable, although any awareness of these upcoming events will vanish from my memory once they occur, much like a permanent erasure.

Besides Stiller, Scott and Erickson have also shared their thoughts regarding the Season 3 renewal.
