Just like its predecessor, this new installment of the sci-fi psychological thriller series has been helmed by Ben Stiller as director. With the arrival of Severance Season 2 on the horizon, travelers at New York’s iconic Grand Central Station were in for an unexpected treat.
A pop-up resembling the workstations from the Apple TV+ series “Severance” was set up at a station on January 14th, Tuesday. Enclosed within a large glass cube and to everyone’s astonishment, the cast of the show were present, portraying their Lumon counterparts. (Reported by The Hollywood Reporter)
In a video posted by director Ben Stiller on X (previously Twitter), Adam Scott, taking on the character Mark Scout, was captured tidying up the carpet. Simultaneously, other cast members such as Arquette, Tillman, Lower, and Zach Cherry feigned work on their computers. They also engaged in various other activities like sipping coffee, playing catch, and so forth.
Furthermore, bystanders at the train station observed Stiller capturing the entire incident on video. Later, he uploaded a post to X, including a picture of Scott, with the caption, “Currently at Grand Central.” The noticeboard display persisted at the station for quite some time.
Season 2 of Severance will be released for viewing on January 17th. Following the success of its debut season among both critics and audiences, anticipation has grown significantly for this upcoming chapter. The show centers around Mark, portrayed by Adam Scott, who serves as the team leader of a group of workers. Memories of their workplace have been meticulously separated from their personal lives in this renowned series.
