“Romance Through Chance Encounter” – A highly anticipated K-drama is set to debut on tvN and Viki in July 2024. Starring in leading roles are Kim So-Hyun as Lee Hong-Ju and Chae Jong-Heop as Kang Hu-Yeong, this drama promises an unforgettable romance experience.
Animation producer Hong-Ju’s K-drama recounts her past: In their high school years, she harbored feelings for classmate Hu-Yeong, eventually mustering the courage to declare them before parting ways upon graduation. Sadly, this confession resulted in her initial heartache, causing her to be wary of future romantic connections. Later in life, Hong-Ju decides to experiment with a blind date, only to encounter an unexpected surprise – none other than Hu-Yeong himself.

The captivating cast and characters of “Serendipity’s Embrace” in the K-drama series have left fans eagerly anticipating the unfolding plot. The main duo, Kim So-Hyun and Chae Jong-Hyeop, bring even more excitement to the mix as they portray Lee Hong-Ju and Kang Hu-Yeong. Their long-standing connection dates back to their high school days.
Decade after Hong-Ju’s confession was dismissed by Hu-Yeong, leading him to depart for the US, an unexpected encounter unfolds. In present-day South Korea, Hu-Yeong attends a blind date at a cozy café. As the woman taking her seat before him is none other than Hong-Ju, his heart skips a beat. Will their past emotions be rekindled? Stay tuned for updates from the storyline.
In addition to Yun Ji-On and Bang Jun-Oh, the K-drama features two crucial characters. Yun Ji-On portrays a well-known novelist named Bang Jun-Oh. Hong-Ju is a fan of his and may end up being the secondary love interest for her in the series. Kim Da-Som joins the cast as Hong-Ju’s best friend, played by Kim Hye-Ji.
