As a die-hard fan of Selling Sunset, I was thrilled to see the newcomer, Alanna Gold, joining the Oppenheim Group in season 8. Her vivacious personality and infectious energy have quickly endeared her to both the agents and viewers alike.
The long-awaited eighth season of “Selling Sunset” is now available for streaming on Netflix! This time around, a fresh face joins the Oppenheim Group as a new real estate agent – Alanna Gold. Known for her vivacious and friendly demeanor, she manages to build rapport with all her fellow agents at the firm.
In the premiere of the series, we meet Alanna. She’s 32 years old and has been working in real estate for three years. It seems she owns a tiny desert town in California called Pioneertown, which she affectionately refers to as her “second home”. Later in the season, Alanna invites some of her colleagues on a visit to this special place, Pioneertown, that holds a significant place in her heart.
It’s likely that you’re curious if Alanna is the owner of this town. To clear things up, yes, she does own it – jointly with her spouse, Adam Gold. In a recent chat with People, Alanna shared their motivation behind buying Pioneertown, explaining the reasons behind their decision.
Established during the 1940s, Pioneertown is a town modeled after the late 1800s and situated in San Bernardino County, California. Initially, it served as a movie set for actors filming Western productions and television shows. Today, however, it operates as a functioning town. As per People’s report, Alanna and her spouse opted to buy this town due to their strong affinity towards the desert. During their courtship, they had one of their first dates in Pioneertown, and they also tied the knot there in July 2022.
We’ve always really loved it [Pioneertown], and it was actually where we went for one of our first trips. We always knew we wanted to own a piece of property out there or be a part of the community somehow.
Apart from their affection for the place, Alanna and Adam viewed buying Pioneertown not only as a chance to preserve it, but also as a means of safeguarding its rich history.
It needed a lot of updates and things like that, and we really wanted to bring it back to life. So it was just this opportunity to really make it vibrant again.
Alanna informs People that she and her spouse currently have no immediate plans to put their town up for sale.
It’s very special and it’s an opportunity that I don’t think will ever come by again. I think it’s something we would hold on to. We really do love being a part of the desert out there.
Selling Sunset season 8 is streaming now only on Netflix.
