SEGA recently released a new trailer for “Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba 2: The Hinokami Chronicles,” which is the second fighting action-adventure game from the Demon Slayer series. This game is developed in collaboration with CyberConnect2 Co., Ltd and Arc System Works.

This fresh trailer focuses on the “Swordsmith Village Saga”, a crucial chapter in the game’s Story Mode, giving fans a sneak peek at the refined gameplay and fresh characters. Additionally, it offers a look into the character-driven plot, captivating settings, and thrilling action scenes, confirming the game’s dedication to accurately portraying the feel of the Demon Slayer anime.

You can pre-order the game in three different versions: Deluxe, Standard, and Physical. The Deluxe version, approximately $70, offers six character unlock keys, VS Mode System Voice set with Upper Rank Demons, three unique battle outfits, and early access to two extra characters before the game’s release. The Standard version, priced around $60, gives you the base game along with two Kimetsu Academy character unlock keys. Lastly, the Physical Edition, also $60, comes with a limited-time launch bonus featuring Muichiro Tokito and Mitsuri Kanroji as playable characters.

Before its release on August 5, 2025 in North America and Europe, the game has started accepting pre-orders for Nintendo Switch. The much-awaited sequel will also debut on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Steam, broadening its accessibility across various platforms.
